Studio Dental
We transformed an entire floor for Studio Dental, creating a contemporary landscape for dentistry. The renovation includes four treatment rooms, a reception and waiting area, an OPG room (specialized X-rays), a sterilization room, and a combined meeting room and kitchen.

To maximize natural light, all treatment rooms are positioned along the outer facade. To prevent the central area from becoming too dark, we selected an intriguing material that balances privacy with transparency. Expanded metal sheets were used. This dynamic interplay of visibility and discretion adds an interesting element. In many dental practices, dental assistants have separate pathways to the sterilization room and medical equipment storage. We embraced a different approach, believing that sharing this circulation with patients enriches the design. This choice fosters interaction and ensures that every square meter is dedicated to quality spaces.

The central medical storage is integrated into the waiting area around a concrete column. This 360° functional cupboard also monitors the OPG room. The fresh green color, used throughout the reception area, brightens the space, contributing to a welcoming environment. Brushed aluminum, grey-green flooring, stained oak, and purple plexiglass create a cohesive aesthetic. This material palette was chosen in close consultation with the client. We aimed to balance creating an inviting atmosphere with maintaining the functionality and hygiene essential for a dental practice. A prime example of this balance is the use of plexiglass fronts in the treatment rooms. These surfaces are highly hygienic yet visually appealing, allowing visitors glimpses into the practice.
